[Bauang] ▬ Buko Juice in La Union, Served Chilled. Yay!

    BUKO JUICE!

    Gutom Intro

I'm on my way to a town nearby actually when I got thirsty (not hungry). Oh well, well, well, well, I felt well! Char! Because the thirst region of my brain is unwell, I walked around the town of Bauang in La Union to look for a great, great, cooly cool kool drink! And what I've found? It's coconut!

Locally known as buko, buko is a coconut (umayos ka!). And from that coconut, there is a juice. So, it's a buko juice! hahaha... Sorry guised, @PalagutomBoy is a bunch of nonsense. Please quit reading now. I'm awesome who cares?

    BUKO CROSS SECTION

    About Buko Juice

Buko juice is used to refer that uhm, juice, coming from coconuts. #JuiceColored. I saw that the buko was stored inside a freezer so the juice is of course, chilled. Ready for swallowing! Ulkkk...

    Cost: 130 pesos

So the cost per buko juice is 30 pesos. This is far way sulit than buying a softdrink that costs cheaper but in the long run, will let you buy expensive medicines. And to note, buko juice has medicinal properties. 'San kapa! Sakay na!

LOOK: Palagutom Boy looks so Hot! (Sabay hithit ng katol. Katol pa teh!)

    [Secret Toro-Toro]

Because the owner did not allow me to blog about their restaurant, I'm not going to mention the name of the restaurant. But if you're from Bauang, for sure, you know this. This is the only restaurant in Bauang that makes buko pie. Period! K Fine! Bye!

[San Fernando] ▬ Kawbin's Restaurant: Chinese Flavors in La Union

    Kawbin's Restaurant

I felt like I wanted to cry when I discovered this restaurant. I wanted to cry not because I am a former dramatic actor (for blog purposes only, shhhh) and not because this restaurant is sentimental but because I was sooo hungry! Akala mo ha! 'Wag kang assuming! Juicecolored! Opkors, who won't cry if you have nothing to eat? But because I found this restaurant, I only 'wanted' to cry, so I did not cry at all. Juicecolored.

Kawbin's is I think a favorite food house in San Fernando because compared with other restaurants I've visited in La Union which are nilalangaw na talaga because of few customers, this one is so bonggang bonggang Bongbong! Well, this is based on my experience. I don't know how it will turn out to you. Baka naman you went here during closing time. Of course, there will be no customers. Juicecolored. Kain pa ng mais at popcorn!

The genre of this restaurant is oriental, like more of Chinese food. So pamper yourself with Chinese flavors because definitely, these food were NEVER made in China. Juicecolored!

Location, Address, Opening and Closing Time

Kawbin's opens from 9am to 10 pm located along Quezon Avenue (National Highway) in the city of San Fernando in La Union.

    What to Expect

I said this is an oriental restaurant. So expect that you are obobs if you're looking for pasta here. Don't expect burgers! Don't expect shawarma and everything under the sun, and the moon and the sky! Kalmaaaaaa!

What to Eat Here? Cheaper than 100 pesos

[San Fernando] ▬ North Mandarin Hotel and Restaurant

    NORTH MANDARIN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

So, yes! This is a hotel baby! But if you think this place is expensive for food, no wayyyyyy! There are some affordable food you can buy here. I found this hotel when I was not satisfied with what I ate at CAFE ESPERANZA for lunch.

I came here to satisfy my craving, and alleviate my hunger. Warning: I am still cute even I'm hungry. Juicecolored.

So I was walking along the busy National Highway of the City of SAN FERNANDO until I was napalingon with the restaurant. Ay! May tao! So since I am also a tao, I entered the restaurant. There were only 3  of us to think the hotel restaurant is so huge and it is lunch time. Why only three of us? Kebbbbs!

    THE MENU COVER

This hotel restaurant is conveniently located along the National Highway of San Fernando City - mismong sa downtown. So why go to the barrio? LOL! Tawa pa! Sige na!

The restaurant opens at 8 in the morning and closes at 9 in the evening. Still, no one can beat 7-11. The official puyaterz store. Hihihi.

    FACADE OF THE RESTAURANT

Expect a bit more expensive meal. Although there are palagutom food that I discovered here, these food can still be purchased in a lower price from some restaurants. Of course, what do you expect? This is a hotel-based restaurant so expect to expect an expected-ly expected expectation of a price-y food.

Also expect that the ambiance would be relaxing. When I went here, there were few people (actually only 3 of us). So, you can emote here if you feel like you're a drama queen. Batukan kaya kita! Juicecolored!

    What to Eat Here?

SPECIAL HALO-HALO | SWEET AND SOUR PORK RICE TOPPINGS

[San Fernando] ▬ Cafe Esperanza in La Union

    CAFE ESPERANZA

Ehem! Lalalala! Wala lang no. I just feel the goodvibes! Lalalala. Dobidobido (Ah. ha. ha. ha. ha - whistle yan ha, parang Mariah).

Bahahaha! Eniwey, I want to blog about Cafe Esperanza because I have no other things more to blog, haha! Tawa pa! Sige pa!

Cafe Esperanza is never related to the teleserye Esperanza by Judy Ann Santos. Wag ka! But whenever you want to go to the city plaza of LA UNION, you'll notice this one. It is very accessibe, parang 'yong bunganga mo lang, LOL!

    INTERIOR OF CAFE ESPERANZA

Location, Address, Operating Hours: This restaurant is located in the heart of the city of SAN FERNANDO in La Union at the corner of Gen Luna and Gomez Streets near the city plaza and Mabanag Hall. The restaurant is open daily from 7am to 7pm.

    THE SIGNAGE

What to Expect: They usually serve snacks, I mean, not chichirya. It is more on merienda type. Don't expect a wi-fi (as of this post). Don't expect a movie theater and lalong-lalo na to not expect a free meal, #Corny #Corney pa. But the interior is so vintage in feel. It is not air-conditioned. Most likely, it is al fresco type. The natural air is really nice. Natural light is very nice too.

    BAKED MACARONI | GINITAAN

[San Fernando] ▬ North Mandarin Hotel's 'Special Halo-Halo'

    SPECIAL HALO-HALO OF NORTH MANDARIN

After a tiring walking tour around the city of SAN FERNANDO, I was craving for a very cold food. Charaaaan! And it became halo-halo. The gutom story starts here.

AFFORDABLE HALO-HALO IN A RESTAURANT HOTEL

    APPETIZING!

About Halo-Halo: Shall I say more? I'm so lazy to explain and type right now. Haha. Can you just please search it on Google? Urghhh! May pinaghuhugutan. But for this version, the ice cream stands out. LOL!

Cost - 75 pesos: This is a certified palagutom dessert for it fell within the 0-100 bracket. Haha. It is placed in a bowl. not glass. I think the price is safe for the volume but not with the quality of the serving. Just an opinion based on personal experience.

    NORTH MANDARIN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

So here is where I ate this food. They are open from 8 am to 9 pm daily. The hotel is located along Quezon Avenue in the City of San Fernando in LA UNION. If you want some peace of mind or non-crowded place, you can try here but I can not attest yet that they serve the best food that are sulit in budget.

[San Fernando] ▬ Sweet and Sour Pork Rice Toppings at North Mandarin Hotel

SWEET AND SOUR PORK RICE TOPPINGS

This is +PALAGUTOM 's first dining experience in a hotel in LA UNION. When @PalagutomBoy has the molah, he goes to some good restaurant hotels to eat. But when his Palagutom persona is activated, he also goes to hotel restaurants but he only eats food with amount not more than 100 pesos. By the way, if you want to follow his sosyal food blog, as in pangmayaman food blog (Warning: This is a formal and a personal type blog so if you want a trash, just stay here) click here - 101Food.

    SO INVITING!

This food I ordered in this restaurant is a common one. In fact, popular fastfood chains like Chowking is mainstream-ing this food. This food is composed of pork, of course (obvious ba?) that both taste sweet and sour.

So far, this is not the best sweet and sour pork rice toppings I've ever eaten. Chowking's version is better than this food prepared in a hotel, plus, mas mahal pa.

    ORANGE IS DELICIOUS.

I LOVE THE TABLE. IT BLENDS.

Cost - 98 Pesos: For a hotel, expect that this is a bit more expensive. But at least, my goal was met here. This is still a certified +PALAGUTOM food at below 100 pesos.

But if you're looking for another option, yes, please do. I'm afraid this food might not be a bang for the buck. But you can try and judge it. Anyway, as I said, this is still a palagutom food at 98 pesos.

[San Fernando] ▬ That 'Baked Macaroni' for lunch

    BAKED MACARONI

The truth of the matter is, I feel so hottie when I get hungry. Hahaha! Bowowowow! Anyway highway, let me introduce to you a food that everybody knows, LOL! This is baked macaroni I ordered in La Union for lunch. The gutom story starts there.

    CUTE PLATE

Baked Macaroni is not new to us. But when I asked the staff at the counter what is this, she told me 'spaghetti.' Really! True story! Cute me, I believed her. But she later realized it was not a spaghetti. I also realized I was so dumb to believe that moment. But generally, I am smart. Nakkks! Haha..

But for the information of those who are their first time to encounter the food baked macaroni, this blog is just for fun so better go to Google and bombard yourself with information you can not contain. I am suggesting this because you will not learn anything here. Haha... Go to Google or Wikipedia and realize that this blog is just a trash. LOL!

    Cost: 80 Pesos

The cost is not nakapagtataka, shall I say more? Some even cost up to a whooping 81 pesos!!! That's a big big difference! Hmm?

So if this is for a lunch, it can relieve the hunger but be careful, you might not get satisfied with what you have eaten. So if you go in this restaurant for lunch, discretion is advised. This baked macaroni is not good for a lunch.

    CAFE ESPERANZA

    Where to Eat This?

I found this food in Cafe Esperanza near the city plaza of SAN FERNANDO and Mabanag Hall. They are open from 7 am to 7 pm. They usually serve snacks and not swarovski crystals. Deymn!
