Hahaha! I don't know why I am laughing. Maybe because I am in love. Wahahaha... Anyway highway, I'm going to feature this local dish of Dagupan called pigar-pigar as in pigar-pigar. If you are sosyal you can pronounce it as pee-gohr-pee-gohr. If you are a mathematician you can do the pigar- raised-to-the-second-power thing. Awww! As in aww na aww bow-wow-wowww. Hahaha!
Pee-gohr-pee-gohr (remember Palagutom Boy is poor but feeling sosyal), is cheap at 80 pesos per serving. The 80 pesos serving is 1/4 kilogram of beef.
Wait! I forgot to tell that pee-gohr-pee-gohr is all about beef mixed with onions and cabbages. But it depends on you. If you want to mix it with seedless mango, frozen olive oil and boiling ice, do it! ...and do eattttt!!! Basta, the basic ingredients are the beef, onion and cabbage. Why make things complicated. Uh! I'm sosyal but I will never use Swarovski crystal plate. Hihihi.
The best authentic place to eat pigar-pigar is in Galvan Street! Stores are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year, 10 years a decade, 10 decades a century and a whooooooping 10 centuries a millennium! Bonggaaaa!!
What are you waiting for! Pigar-pigar is cheap at 80 pesos. So this is a mission accomplished since I was able to find a food cheaper than 100 pesos. That serving is actually good for 2-3 people with average appetite. But if your appetite is voracious and insatiable, the store owners will be very happy. Haha.
