    Gotham City Cafe


    I was scouting for restaurants along the Maramba Boulevard in Lingayen until I saw this with its distinct yellow business signage. That moment, I knew it was a restaurant, LOL!

    This restaurant is an extension of the bigger the President's Hotel and if you order a food, it comes from the latter.

    The restaurant is anime-themed. Images of superheroes are posted on the walls. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    P.S. They offer free videoke if you'll eat here. So ibirit mo na!



    Location/Address/Opening and Closing Time


    As I've said, this is located along the Maramba Boulevard, or simply, the Boulevard. Its location is near the tourist attractions in town like the Capitol Building, the Lingayen Beach (not the Lingayen Bitch(es) and the Veterans Park.

    The restaurant is open 24 hours a day.


    What to Expect?


    The restaurant is accessible. It is air-conditioned even though your hair is not hair-conditioned. As to the service, I'll give 7 over 10. Food? 8 over 10. The place is clean and tidy; the restroom too!

    Do you want to experience the local scene while in Lingayen? Well, head in front of the Lingayen Catholic Church at night and you'll know where the locals go! Goooora na!

    Here, you'll enjoy the dashing belfry lighted at night while eating your food.

    As I've said, this is along Rizal Avenue East in front of the Lingayen Catholic Church. This local food hub becomes alive from 6pm up to midnight.



    What to Expect?


    Expect vehicles passing by. Expect to see different kinds of people. Don't expect sosyal plates, glass or whatsoever. So far, I didn't suffer from diarrhea so I would say this is a safe place for the tummy.

    Of course that this is a noisy place. There are tables along the streets where you can dine. They offer cheap food.

    Heyah! To all the followers of palagutom, follow lang ng follow! hahaha.. I'm in Lingayen! I'm poor yet I'm sosyal. #Char!

    Of course, I will look for cheap food again here starting from 100 pesos down. If libre, mas masaya! C'mon let's discover Lingayen the pulubi style. Bahahaha!


    About Bangosilog


    Silog meals are popular Filipino breakfasts. Silog stands for sinangag rice and itlog (egg). In Lingayen's Gotham City Cafe (an extension of The President's Hotel), I ordered Bangosilog which stands for Bangus + Sinangag + Itlog - just one of the countless silog versions you can make.

    With this food I ordered here, I had a one piece of boneless bangus, an egg, a sinangag and a free coffee! Great breakfast really! Not so expensive.




    Cost: 100 Pesos


    Ok, the cost of the meal is 100 pesos. That is swak! Naka-aircon ka pa! Juicecolored. You can also have a free videoke inside the restaurant, yes, for free! Birit na! Birit pa!



    Where I Ate This?


    This restaurant is located along the Maramba Boulevard in Lingayen and it is an extension of The President's Hotel.

    The restaurant is anime-themed with images of Batman, Spiderman and other fictitious superheroes. This is conveniently located in Lingayen. It is walking distance away from the Capitol grounds and the Lingayen Beach.

    I PURCHASED THIS LUGAW FROM THE STREETS OF LINGAYEN

    About Lugaw 


    Lugaw is not new to every Filipino because Filipinos eat lugaw when they have nothing to eat. This is a sad reality though especially to those poor Filipinos. But, let's be happy! Because every rich and poor can eat lugaw! In Lingayen, they also have lugawww! 

    Ok, lugaw is made of rice with extra water to make it more fluid (ahh! I don't kow how to describe, duhhh!). Basta, this is rice, with extra water so as not to make it dry! 'Yun ng 'yon! Tahaaaa! Juicecolored.

    This lugaw I ate has meat toppings, some herbs (onion leaves, I think) and egg.



    Cost: 26 pesos


    As far as I remember, the lugaw I ate costed 26 pesos (with egg). Without the egg, it is cheaper. This served as my dinner. Promise, it was a cheap dinner that can make your world go round! #Char!


    Where to Eat this?


    Well, I ate this along the Avenida Rizal East in Lingayen just in front of the Lingayen Parish Church. These food stalls appear at night, like starting from about 6 pm daily. They are there until midnight!
